Many of our junior players have played representative cricket for District, Taverners', North Yorkshire, Yorkshire and The North of England.Under 17s.| | David Girling. Yorkshire Academy and Yorkshire.
David
joined Knaresborough in 2002 and in 2003 he was selected for Yorkshire
Schools under 11's. He has since played for Yorkshire Schools at every
age group and also was selected for the North of England
Under 13's in 2005 and 2006 and the North of England Under 15's at the
Bunbury Festival in 2007. He was awarded a scholarship by Yorkshire in
2007 and has had an Academy Contract since 2008. David was
selected for England Under 16's but injury prevented him from playing
any of the games. Unfortunately, he has been plagued by injury over the
last 2 years but he has still
managed to make his debut for Yorkshire 2nd XI and has also been
twelfth man for the First XI on 1 occasion.

Peter Barnes. Joe Lumb Under 17s team.
Peter
has captained the league Under 17s team this year with great success,
including a century against Heavy Woollen. In addition he was selected
by Yorkshire fior the final Under 19s trial. He
has brilliantly managed the Under 11s and taken them to a cup final in
September, captained the Under 17s to victory in The Arthur Barrett Cup and is in Knaresborough First X1.

Jordan has played for the Joe Lumb team this season, making an excellent 50 in their final fixture. He also played in the Under 17s cup winning team and plays for Whixley 1st X1 on Saturdays.

Graeme Whiles. Yorkshire Academy.
Graeme
has had a great season, first cementing his place in the Knaresborough
First X1 and then being selected for the Yorkshire Academy.

Jonathan Tattersall. Yorkshire Under 15s and The North of England.
Jonny has been selected to play for the North of England following his success as captain of Yorkshire Under 15s this season. He has scored runs in every team he's played this season from Under 15s and 17s to Knaresborough 1st X1 and Yorkshire.

Josh has played as an all rounder this season for the Lord Taverners, U17s and U15s. He was part of

team that reached the final against Sheffield for the first time ever. He also plays for Ripley CC on Saturdays.

North Yorkshire U14s and Lord Taverners
Sam has played as an all rounder this season for the Lord Taverners, U17s and U15s. He was part of
the Taverners'
team that reached the final against Sheffield for the first time ever, but missed out on the day with a broken finger. He also plays for Goldsborough CC on Saturdays.

Edward Barnes Lord Taverners, North Yorkshire U12s and Yorkshire U12s
Eddie has played successfully for Yorkshire U12s this season, taking 17 wickets as well as playing for KCC at U13s, U15s and U17s. He was a vital member of the Arthur Barrett cup winning side. He is also a leading expert on cricket teas.
